Multiple immediate openings are available, offering rewarding assignments working with elementary and high school students for the upcoming academic year.
Three distinct roles are available:
- Short-term coverage (August 2024-December 2026, possible extension) at an elementary school, 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week)
- Full academic year coverage (August 2024-May 2027) at two high schools, 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week)
- Temporary one-year assignment (August 2024-May 2027) spanning two elementary schools, 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week)
To thrive in these roles, you’ll bring:
- A current or in-process CDE license (copies required upon applying; applications without documentation will not be reviewed)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- At least one year of classroom or school-based experience as an SLP
- Flexibility for onsite work only (remote or SLPA applications will not be considered)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based therapy and assessments for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Working closely with school staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals
- Maintaining thorough documentation and contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment
