Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • At least one year of experience working with school-aged children
  • Proven expertise in implementing AAC interventions and strategies
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student IEPs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students across varying abilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for communication disorders
  • Incorporate AAC systems into therapy sessions and offer training to staff and families
  • Consult with teachers, families, and specialists to create effective learning environments
  • Document and maintain accurate progress records compliant with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing recommendations and supporting the implementation of individualized goals
