This position runs 35 hours per week, providing consistent hours as you help students achieve communication goals, build confidence, and thrive academically.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid Connecticut license to practice as an SLP-CCC
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed records, track student progress, and communicate results to relevant stakeholders
- Work efficiently across two school campuses while transitioning smoothly between sites
- Support generalization of communication skills in the classroom and collaborate with teaching staff
