Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Bristol, CT. This assignment runs from ASAP through June 2027, covering the entire 2026-2027 school year. There is a need for two SLPs to provide services across multiple schools, working full time Monday through Friday for 35-37.5 hours each week. Candidates must be able to provide on-site services; remote or virtual work will not be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple school sites
  • Must be able to commit to in-person, on-site services

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide therapy sessions for students across several school buildings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and student support discussions
  • Adapt to changing caseload and student needs throughout the contract period
