Step into a rewarding position providing speech-language services to elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a full-time caseload across one to two school sites, allowing you to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant and supportive educational environment near Bristow, VA.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience supporting pediatric and elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Skills or interest in teletherapy as part of service delivery
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators and families
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Monitor progress and document student outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and provide staff training when appropriate
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student success
