Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience supporting pediatric and elementary-aged students in a school setting
  • Skills or interest in teletherapy as part of service delivery
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaborative abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators and families
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
  • Monitor progress and document student outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings and provide staff training when appropriate
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student success
