Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid SLP license with CCC (Clinical Certificate of Competence) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Background in school settings and healthcare environments
  • Experience with pediatric caseloads, particularly at the elementary level
  • Proficiency using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is essential
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
  • SLPAs with healthcare experience are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication challenges
  • Incorporate AAC devices to empower student participation and success
  • Document progress and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
  • Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Engage in both in-person and virtual therapy sessions as needed
