Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid SLP license with CCC (Clinical Certificate of Competence) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background in school settings and healthcare environments
- Experience with pediatric caseloads, particularly at the elementary level
- Proficiency using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is essential
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- SLPAs with healthcare experience are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication challenges
- Incorporate AAC devices to empower student participation and success
- Document progress and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Engage in both in-person and virtual therapy sessions as needed
