This role offers 32.5 hours per week and focuses on providing essential speech and language services within a dynamic educational environment. Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience as a school-based SLP, especially with elementary-aged students
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to create supportive, inclusive learning environments
  • Organizational skills for managing caseload documentation and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and small group settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress
  • Monitor and document student outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district requirements
