Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing impactful support as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a high school language-based program. Covering a maternity leave from mid-October through early January, you’ll make a real difference for students, fostering growth and success in their communication skills.

As an essential member collaborating with educators and specialists, you’ll work core school hours from 7:25am to 2:20pm, Monday through Friday. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state SLP license and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in school-based or adolescent settings
  • Strong knowledge of language-based learning disabilities and intervention strategies
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services and develop individualized treatment plans for high school students in the language-based program
  • Conduct assessments and document student progress in compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Attend IEP meetings, offer recommendations, and consult with teachers and families
  • Support students’ social, academic, and functional communication
  • Maintain accurate records and complete documentation in a timely manner
