Step into an exciting opportunity to support K-12 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 2026/2027 school year. Your expertise will help shape the educational experience of a diverse student population while working a consistent full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week.
Candidates skilled in both Spanish and English are highly prioritized, but fluency in Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese is also valued. If you bring linguistic diversity and cultural competency to your therapy practice, you’ll make a meaningful impact in this setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license (please include current status)
- Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) status required (include current status)
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is highest priority, but Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese fluency is advantageous
- Experience providing speech-language services to K-12 students in school environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to a varied caseload across K-12 grade levels
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans that address students’ language, communication, and articulation needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s educational journey
- Complete IEPs, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings as needed
- Caseload and school location assignments for monolingual candidates are determined after hiring and credentialing
