Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required
  • Active SLP licensure in New York State
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to manage caseloads with attention to detail and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals
  • Deliver therapy services in individual or group settings, 2 days per week
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists on student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
