Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required
- Active SLP licensure in New York State
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to manage caseloads with attention to detail and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals
- Deliver therapy services in individual or group settings, 2 days per week
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists on student progress
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
