Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in New York State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work with diverse age groups and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine individual student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families on student progress and goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and evaluations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Educate school personnel and parents on strategies and interventions to support communication development
