Make a meaningful impact supporting students across a broad age range and diverse needs in a dynamic school-based environment near Bronx, NY. Multiple contract opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs): a current full-time opening, a flexible part-time position (2-3 days/week depending on your availability and caseload), and a maternity leave coverage from July through approximately October.

Enjoy a consistent schedule—hours run from 8:30am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a half-hour lunch break. These positions offer the chance to provide essential services to students aged 5-21, primarily supporting those with autism.

Key Qualifications:

  • SLP certification required
  • Comfortable working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
  • Strong knowledge or interest in working with students with autism
  • Experience with AAC devices (TouchChat, LAMP, Proloquo) is preferred
  • Previous experience serving school-aged populations preferred

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver daily speech-language therapy, both individual and group sessions (approx. 10 sessions/day)
  • Maintain thorough daily treatment notes
  • Complete quarterly and annual progress reports, including IEP draft preparation
  • Conduct monthly self-audits of documentation including notes and attendance
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster communication skills in students
  • Serve a caseload of approximately 50 sessions
