Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students from 4K through 8th grade in an engaging educational environment. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with approximately 30 students, addressing articulation, language needs, and providing targeted interventions for a few students on the autism spectrum. As an established Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), your expertise will be valued in fostering communication growth and helping students overcome obstacles to academic success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience in a school setting with varied age groups (preschool to middle school)
  • Proficiency in supporting diverse communication needs, including articulation and receptive/expressive language
  • Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and relevant interventions
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Collaborative approach with educators, families, and support staff
  • Bilingual skills are a plus and highly welcomed

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services, targeting articulation and language objectives
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers and families to support student growth
  • Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to each student's strengths and needs
  • Maintain compliance with school policies and professional standards
  • Provide expertise on communication strategies and classroom modifications
