Make a real impact working with elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract assignment near Brookline, MO! This is an excellent opportunity to provide essential communication support within a diverse elementary school setting. You'll work full-time, 37.5-40 hours per week, starting August 10, 2026 and continuing through the end of the school year.

You'll collaborate with a dynamic special education team, serving students in kindergarten through 4th grade across a range of classroom types, including essential skills, cross-categorical, and speech-only settings. The student caseload consists of approximately 35 students. Additionally, you will have supervisory responsibilities for an SLPA, allowing you to shape both student and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Relevant experience in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Background in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants is preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary learners
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation for assessments, progress, and therapy sessions
  • Supervise and mentor an SLPA, guiding quality service delivery and professional development
