Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Brooklyn, MI

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Hold, or be eligible for, CCC or CFY certification
• Prior experience working in a school setting (preferred)
• Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Active state licensure or ability to obtain prior to the start date

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
• Provide direct, evidence-based therapy to a school-aged caseload (~50 students)
• Integrate AAC devices and support students in developing communication skills
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success across educational environments
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
• Offer consultative support and resources to colleagues and families as needed
