Ideal qualifications and experience include:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, or strong candidates completing CFY will be considered
- Experience in a pediatric or school-based setting, conducting screenings, assessments, and treatment for a diverse student caseload
- Commitment to collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents to support students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine eligibility and ongoing needs for services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on student progress and session activities
- Provide recommendations and strategies to educational staff for classroom support
- Participate in IEP meetings, in-service trainings, and school team consultations
