Grades 6 - 8 Certified Speech Language Pathologist in Brooklyn, NY

Make a positive impact in the educational field by supporting students’ communication growth in a contract-based role serving grades K–12. This position spans 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a consistent schedule from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. The assignment runs from March 1, 2026, through June 1, 2026, focusing on student populations aged 12 to 21 near Brooklyn, NY. Flexibility for teletherapy or a hybrid format is a possibility.

This opportunity is best suited for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists with demonstrated experience working with resistant or challenging youth. You’ll be instrumental in delivering IEP-mandated services to help students reach their communication goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active state license for Speech-Language Pathology
• Certification to provide services in schools
• Background serving students in grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12
• Previous experience with populations ages 12–21
• Proven ability to work with and engage resistant or reluctant youth
• Professional reliability and the ability to work independently
• Open to considering teletherapy or hybrid service delivery

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to address student needs
