This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated SLP who is certified and experienced in working with a diverse population, including those who may be considered resistant or reluctant participants. The role is suited for someone familiar with providing IEP-mandated services to students ranging from elementary through high school, specifically those ages 12-21.
This position offers flexibility, with a weekly commitment of 25-30 hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am-2:30pm. The assignment runs from March 1, 2026, through June 1, 2026. Both teletherapy and hybrid models may be considered, offering adaptability for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Speech-Language Pathology license and SLP certification
- Experience delivering IEP-mandated services in a school setting
- Effective working history with students who are classified as resistant youth
- Skilled at collaborating with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to serve students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services according to students’ IEP requirements
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and track student progress
- Build rapport and engage effectively with students, including those who may be resistant
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and support staff
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
