An exciting opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a flexible, part-time contract role in a supportive school environment. Enjoy working with elementary-aged students and making a difference in their communication skills at Wildwood Elementary. This position is set for three days per week, totaling 24 hours weekly, with the assignment running from August 10 through the end of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience working in elementary school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and students
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy based on student needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to ensure students’ success in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required by school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making
  • Provide consultative services and training for teachers and families as needed
