Make a difference in the lives of high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant suburban Colorado district. This contract opportunity is designed for skilled SLPs who are passionate about supporting students’ communication development in an engaging school setting. The position runs from August 4th through May 21st, 2027, operating at 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week), with the work schedule determined collaboratively with building leadership.
Your expertise will be valued within diverse environments, as you serve students at two high schools. ONSITE presence is required, providing you opportunities for close collaboration with staff, students, and families.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or pending CDE (Colorado Department of Education) license; submission of license or COOL record with resume required
- SLP-CCC credential strongly preferred
- At least one year of classroom experience required
- Experience working within school-based settings
- Comfortable working only onsite (remote arrangements not available)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Preference for specific high school setting should be indicated
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and deliver IEP-driven therapy, and document student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide specialized support tailored to secondary-level learners
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state SLP guidelines
