Step into a rewarding contract role making a difference in the lives of early childhood and elementary students. This full-time position (40 hours per week) offers the opportunity to serve a dynamic caseload of 50-55 students from PreK to 5th grade, split between two welcoming school sites. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, providing consistent engagement and a chance to witness growth across the school year.
Ideal candidates bring expertise in Speech-Language Pathology, with a strong preference for those holding CCC credentials or SLPA experience within school environments. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure as an SLP, CCC-SLP, or SLPA (with recent school experience)
- Experience with school-based caseloads (PreK-5 preferred)
- Strong understanding of early childhood speech and language development
- Skill in conducting thorough Child Find evaluations
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to students across two sites
- Manage a diverse caseload of 50-55 early childhood and elementary-age students
- Conduct Child Find evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress monitoring
- Consult regularly with staff and families to support student success
