Key Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana SLP License and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings, particularly with younger students
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing protocols
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Duties:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged children
- Complete thorough evaluations and participate in Eligibility and IEP meetings
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address a variety of communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to optimize student outcomes
- Complete required Medicaid documentation and reports in a timely manner
- Stay current with best practices and continue professional learning
