School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Brownsville, Texas

This rewarding contract opportunity is perfect for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives on making a difference in children’s communication, learning, and confidence.

This position offers 18-24 hours per week assisting a campus with a caseload of approximately 50 students. Work directly with children in-person, delivering high-impact interventions and collaborating with a dynamic school team. This is an on-site position; remote arrangements are not available at this time.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
• School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt communication and therapy to different grade levels
• Strong collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students within the school setting
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Maintain thorough and timely student documentation in compliance with regulations
• Support and empower students through effective communication strategies and interventions
