Step into an exciting opportunity to support middle school students during an important phase of the academic year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This maternity leave contract is set in a warm, collaborative school environment where your expertise will make a genuine difference from August through mid-November.

As an SLP in this position, you’ll be an integral part of the educational team, serving students who benefit from your communication and language support. The full-time schedule ensures you are present for day-to-day learning moments and can establish meaningful connections with students and staff alike.

Desired Background & Licensure:

  • Valid SLP-CCC credential
  • Previous experience with middle school aged students
  • Familiarity with school-based IEPs and collaborative team models
  • Strong communication skills—verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt to various learning styles and needs
  • Flexibility to manage dynamic school schedules

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and progress monitoring
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to build comprehensive student support plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation
