Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CF candidates will be considered
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is valuable, but all qualified applicants are encouraged
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with varying communication needs
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students’ educational goals
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students’ individualized education plans
  • Educate staff and parents on communication strategies to support generalization of skills
