You’ll work closely with a diverse student population, addressing various speech and language needs. Two positions are available: one serving a single building (K–8), and another supporting K–8 with potential middle school caseload. Both positions offer the chance to partner with passionate educators and help students reach their full communication potential.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CCC-SLP certification or eligibility (CFY encouraged to apply)
- State licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Experience or coursework in pediatric and school-based settings
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
- Desire to contribute to a dynamic team and foster a supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K–8 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored for each student
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy, adapting methods as needed
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and SLPAs
- Provide guidance and supervision to SLPAs in therapy delivery
- Educate staff and families on best practices to enhance student communications
This contract role begins on July 28, 2026, and concludes May 21, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. You’ll benefit from working alongside experienced professionals while helping students achieve academic and social success.
