An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This position involves providing essential communication support to students from kindergarten through 12th grade during the extended school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist License
- CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using therapy materials and technology
Location:
- Bucksport, ME
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication skills
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discussions about student needs
