Speech Language Pathologist in Bucksport, ME

An onsite Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to serve a dynamic Extended School Year (ESY) program, starting July 8. You’ll work three days a week—Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—providing essential services to young learners who benefit from continued support during the summer months.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Holds (or is eligible for) a valid SLP license
• Open to candidates with CCC or those seeking CFY supervision
• Experience with school-based SLP services a plus, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented educational atmosphere
• Committed to fostering positive outcomes for students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students onsite during the ESY session
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all required guidelines
• Adapt support to meet the individual needs of each student on your caseload
