Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP licensure in Texas (or eligible to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide bilingual therapy sessions tailored to meet individual student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional recommendations as part of the special education team
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all district and state requirements
