The role begins August 6th and continues through May 28th, requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, all onsite.
Your expertise will impact approximately 60 students, with campuses and grade levels assigned based on your professional strengths and preferences. Expect to work across 1-2 school sites, which may include early childhood centers, elementary, middle, high school, or an 18+ transition program classroom.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active licensure for practice in Texas
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting (preschool through high school preferred)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy to diverse student populations and varying needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in student and team meetings
- Foster inclusive communication strategies campus-wide
- Travel between assigned campuses as needed
