Based near Buellton and Solvang, this part-time opportunity is designed for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 58 students within a single school location.
Your expertise will be vital across various areas, including pediatrics and teletherapy, allowing you to exercise your skills in evaluation, intervention, and collaboration—both onsite and virtually. The contract covers 180 school days, with an extra 20 days before and after the academic year to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active or in-progress California CTC permit (required; candidates must document status and cover associated fees)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year eligibility
- Strong background in pediatric speech therapy within school settings
- Experience or interest in teletherapy a plus
- Ability to manage a mixed caseload spanning TK-8th grade
- Positive team player with excellent communication and record-keeping skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services, assessments, and individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation compliant with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate consistently with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
- Provide services to a caseload of diverse learners
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent consultations, and progress reporting
- Flexibly provide support both onsite and via teletherapy as needed
This position offers competitive hourly compensation between $45-$55, with a set schedule of 40 hours per week over five days, totaling 1600 hours for the assignment.
