Licensed Elementary Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Buellton, CA

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and state licensure
• Previous experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with families and staff
• Ability to manage caseload, documentation, and scheduling effectively
• Adaptability across different age groups and educational environments
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments in alignment with current state and federal requirements
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to students in need of speech-language intervention
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and families to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Track student progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in relevant team meetings
• Consult with educational staff to support strategies for integrating communication skills into the classroom
• Provide resources and guidance to families to continue student support beyond school hours
