Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP licensure or credential required for schools in California
  • Prior experience working in school settings, particularly with preschool-aged children and special education classrooms
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and paperwork
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to varied learning needs and support diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, evaluations, and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders for preschool and Mild Moderate SDC students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs tailored to student goals
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Monitor, document, and communicate student outcomes
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
