Qualifications and Skills:
- Current certification and licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience or training in early childhood education, ideally with preschool ages
- Previous work with assessment teams or students in Mild Moderate SDC settings is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with educators, families, and support staff
- Dedication to fostering positive outcomes for a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver therapy to preschool students as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to the Preschool Assessment Team, supporting accurate identification and intervention planning
- Provide targeted therapy and documentation for Mild Moderate 1-2 SDC class members
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and family communication
- Adapt interventions to meet individual student needs and promote classroom integration
