Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a direct impact in early childhood education as a Speech and Language Pathologist. This role begins as soon as possible, providing vital support to preschool-aged students and assessment teams within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment. As a part of a dedicated team, you'll work a consistent five-day schedule, supporting preschool classes, the Preschool Assessment Team, and Mild Moderate 1-2 Special Day Classes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology certification and state licensure
  • Experience working in preschool or early childhood education settings
  • Familiarity with assessment and intervention for speech and language disorders in young children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, assessment teams, and families
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Dedication to providing culturally responsive and inclusive services

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for preschool students and those in Mild Moderate 1-2 SDC classes
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with the Preschool Assessment Team to determine needs and design appropriate interventions
  • Work directly with students in both classroom and small group settings to target speech and language goals
  • Provide consultative support and training to educators and parents
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports
