Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure as required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and work with diverse student populations
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students with speech or language needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to support student learning
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective communication and carryover of therapy goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
