Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active state licensure as required
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and work with diverse student populations

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students with speech or language needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies in accordance with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to support student learning
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective communication and carryover of therapy goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
