Take your Speech-Language Pathology expertise into the classroom setting and play a vital role in supporting student success. This full-time, school-year contract position offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of students, providing both assessment and intervention services in a collaborative environment.
You will conduct thorough speech-language evaluations, create and track individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy designed to address educational barriers associated with communication disorders. The role emphasizes teamwork—partnering closely with teachers, administrators, specialists, and families to foster each student’s academic and social growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students in need
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy in line with student needs
- Keep detailed records, progress notes, and ensure compliance with state and federal standards
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
- Offer classroom strategies and recommendations to support student communication success
- Adjust therapy approaches based on ongoing progress monitoring
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license or educator certification as required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Experience in a school environment is a plus; pediatric backgrounds considered
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
This opportunity is based onsite in a school setting for the 2026–2027 academic year. Prospective contract extensions may be available based on performance and school district needs.
