This year-round role provides the chance to work collaboratively while shaping the communication abilities of children from varied backgrounds, some of whom are non-verbal and benefit from alternative communication approaches such as ASL.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid state licensure as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CF, or SLPA (with SLP open to supervision)
- Experience in pediatric, educational, or healthcare settings working with a range of ages and abilities
- Comfort working in a clinical environment serving birth through 21 years
- Preferably bilingual and/or skilled in American Sign Language (highly valued for non-verbal cases)
- Committed to inclusive, compassionate care for children and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy for a range of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to support student goals and progress
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, documentation, and family communication
- Provide supervision and mentorship to SLPA team members (if SLP)
- Advocate for diverse communication needs with creativity and empathy
