Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with Self-Contained General Education Endorsement
• CDE license required
• Possession of a Substitute Teacher License or Short-Term Sub License
• Experience collaborating with teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Preferred: Background working with school-age students (not mandatory)
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality instruction to students with diverse cognitive, behavioral, and physical needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Partner with general education teachers to create inclusive learning settings
• Foster positive, productive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education regulations
