Make a difference supporting elementary-age students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting. This opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals with pediatric experience, as well as those at the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) stage looking to grow their skills under supervision. You’ll play a vital role in helping young learners develop their communication abilities and succeed in an encouraging environment. Both onsite and teletherapy candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current, valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP or CFY
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or pursuing completion of CFY
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
  • Comfort with teletherapy platforms is a plus
  • SLPA candidates with relevant school or healthcare backgrounds may be considered
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans for elementary school students
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, assessments, and student development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team’s planning
  • Offer therapy via onsite and/or teletherapy methods, as appropriate
  • Provide ongoing support to students requiring augmentative communication or specific interventions
