School Speech Language Pathologist - Bulverde, TX

Step into a rewarding school-based contract role supporting students in grades K-10 near Bulverde, TX. This opportunity focuses on providing high-quality speech-language pathology services three days a week. You’ll serve a dedicated caseload of approximately 30-35 students, delivering both evaluations and direct therapy, including work with students using AAC devices and those on the autism spectrum. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Texas State Speech-Language Pathology license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience working in school settings with diverse caseloads
• Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies for supporting autistic students
• Strong skills in articulation and fluency therapy
• Committed to collaborating on-site with school staff and student families
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students in grades K-10
• Develop and implement individualized direct therapy plans
• Manage a varied caseload efficiently, prioritizing student needs
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date student records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Offer support and recommendations for classroom-based accommodations
