Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to Clinical Fellows
  • Previous school-based experience is desirable, but strong clinical SLPs from other settings invited to apply
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, creating IEP goals, and delivering both individual and group therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students with varied communication needs
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans to target expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, and social communication skills
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff, as well as families, to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings by providing input on goals and progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with IDEA and school policies
  • Consult with teachers regarding effective classroom strategies for students with communication challenges
