This contract position begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, including summer session opportunities.
Enjoy the opportunity to work full-time during both the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years. The summer session runs from June 17, 2026, to July 17, 2026, and the new school year picks up on August 5, 2026. You’ll have the chance to foster communication skills and growth in students with a range of needs—supporting those with mild articulation challenges, language deficits related to mild to moderate disabilities, and some with AAC device requirements.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active SLP license for California and CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings
- Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work in a multi-site setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students TK–6th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Support students with mild articulation needs, language deficits, and AAC device integration
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
