This contract role calls for two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) ready to begin as soon as possible near Burbank, CA. One position requires a licensed SLP, while the other is open to either a licensed SLP or a Clinical Fellow (CF). Both roles are full-time and will work closely with students presenting a diverse range of abilities, requiring varying levels of support. Your expertise will help unlock each child's potential, delivering targeted and compassionate care in an engaging, school-based environment.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Active state licensure as an SLP required for at least one position; consideration given to strong CF applicants for the second position.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) highly desirable for licensed applicants.
  • Experience in schools, pediatrics, and healthcare settings is a plus.
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills, with a keen ability to connect with students, staff, and families.
  • Comfort with a variety of speech and language disorders, as well as integrating therapy into the classroom environment.
  • Previous teletherapy experience is valued, though both roles are in-person.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver direct therapy to elementary students with mild to extensive needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success.
  • Monitor progress, document data, and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with educational and healthcare documentation regulations.
