Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This engaging, contract-based opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in a school setting near Burleson, TX. You’ll provide essential speech-language services, working with a diverse caseload of roughly 60-65 students at a single campus location (to be determined).
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas SLP licensure required
- Prior experience in a school setting supporting K-12 students is highly valued
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills preferred
- Ability to complete and/or verify fingerprints through the Texas Education Agency (results may take up to 10 business days)
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students based on individualized education plans
- Complete thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress notes
- Collaborate with other educational staff, special education teams, and families to support student success
- Offer support at one school campus for the 2026-2027 academic year (August 10, 2026 – May 21, 2027)
- Work full-time, with up to 37.5 hours per week on-site
This assignment is strictly on-site (not open to virtual/VOCO arrangements), giving you the valuable experience of working directly within a vibrant school community.
