School Speech Language Pathologist - Burleson, Texas

Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students through a fulfilling school-based speech-language pathology contract. You’ll be working full-time across the school year, predominantly serving elementary-aged students within a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech-language assessment, intervention, and consultation for a caseload of approximately 70-80 students per campus.
• Assume a supervisory position by guiding and mentoring Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) at the elementary campus.
• Foster inclusive communication and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support individualized student needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), track student progress, and maintain necessary records with care and professionalism.
• Frequently travel between campuses in an itinerant capacity to ensure continuity of care across student populations.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Valid state licensure as required for practice in schools.
• Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations.
• Experience with elementary caseloads and supervising SLPAs highly valued.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in flexible, multi-campus arrangements.
• Teletherapy-only models are not supported for this role; in-person presence is essential.
