Substitute Speech Language Pathologist in Burley, ID

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with Self-Contained General Education Endorsement or CDE license
• Substitute Teacher License or Short Term Substitute License required
• Experience working with school-age students preferred, not required
• Skills in general education, special education, speech-language pathology, and classroom instruction are beneficial
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with fellow teachers and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a resource for students requiring special education services, adapting instruction to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Work in partnership with classroom teachers and staff to foster a supportive learning environment
• Develop and deliver differentiated lessons that support diverse learning needs
• Monitor student progress, maintaining documentation and reporting as needed
• Support compliance with state, federal, and district regulations and best practices
• Engage in regular communication with students’ families and support personnel
