Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist working with K-12 students across multiple school locations in the Burlington, NC area. This full-time contract runs from August 18, 2025, through June 10, 2026, and offers the unique experience of serving a diverse student population through virtual (Voco) platforms. With a structured weekly schedule of 35 hours, you will play a crucial role in fostering communication success in students throughout the academic year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience providing services in school settings, ideally supporting K-12 students
- Proficiency with virtual service delivery is highly valued
- Strong collaborative skills for working across multiple school sites and teams
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Ability to design and implement effective IEPs for students of varying ages and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in virtual settings
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of speech-language disorders
- Manage caseloads spanning kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Develop individualized therapy plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes
