Make an impact supporting young learners as a part-time Speech Language Pathologist at a small, nurturing school serving preschool through 4th grade students near the Burlington, VT area. This contract role involves working four days per week (with some flexibility for fewer days) with a manageable caseload of 15 students, some requiring services across five days. This opportunity is ideal for licensed SLPs, Clinical Fellows seeking their CFY, or SLPAs; if needed, professional supervision will be provided.

Key Qualifications:

  • Completed graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology or completion of SLP-A program
  • Eligible for (or current holder of) CCC-SLP or CFY status
  • Open to SLPAs with valid licensure
  • Experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Compassionate, student-centered practice

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screening, assessment, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Offer direct service to a small, well-supported caseload across a single site
  • Collaborate with educators, family members, and other specialists to support student progress
  • Maintain clear documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Ensure services are aligned with best practices for early childhood and elementary students
