Step into a meaningful contract assignment supporting elementary students during a Speech-Language Pathologist maternity leave near Burlington, WI. This position spans from September through the end of November, with a consistent weekday schedule—Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM. As a valued professional in this role, you will play an essential part in fostering students’ communication skills in a supportive educational environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current, valid SLP license/certification in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to new settings and work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech/language therapy services to elementary students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
  • Support students’ growth in areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
