A fantastic contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful difference with a K-12 student population. The district is eager to welcome a dedicated SLP for the new school year, offering a chance to support around 50 students in a collaborative academic environment. The assignment is located near Burnet, TX, and offers a full-time schedule.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience or interest in working with pediatric populations
  • Knowledge of delivering therapy via teletherapy platforms
  • Experience in school-based or healthcare settings serving children
  • Candidates must be SLPs (not open to SLPAs unless supervision can be provided)

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50 K-12 students with diverse communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct speech and language interventions, both in-person and through teletherapy, as appropriate
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Evaluate, document, and report on student outcomes and therapy effectiveness
  • Participate in eligibility, progress monitoring, and IEP meetings
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
