In this dynamic position, you'll have the chance to make a real impact by supporting the communication needs of students from Pre-K through 12th grade for the upcoming 26/27 school year. Whether you are a seasoned SLP-CCC, a motivated Clinical Fellow (CFY), or a dedicated SLPA, this contract role offers a welcoming environment where professional growth is encouraged and student success is the top priority.
You’ll work on-site with a caseload of around 15-20 students and help foster growth and confidence in their speech and language abilities. Flexible scheduling is possible within the school’s hours (8:00–3:15), with earlier dismissals at elementary campuses—perfect for those who value work-life balance. Supervision and support are available for SLPAs and those completing their CFY.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid credentials as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA (In-person SLPAs considered)
- Experience working with school-aged children across varying abilities
- Knowledgeable in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to student advocacy
- Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- For SLPAs: work under the supervision of a licensed SLP, primarily with elementary students
